Founded in 2003, St. Jude Public School stands erect in the heart of Kuttanellur in the diocese of Kottappuram as the realization of the waking dream, to start an educational institution in Thrissur, of the Congregation of Teresian Carmelites, founded by Mother Eliswa whose main apostolic vision finds its fruits in education. Started on June 1, 2003 as a nursery school in a humble abode, the school is now developed into a High School which acquired Delhi CBSE affiliation in 2006 thereby enjoying the membership of Thrissur Sahodaya Complex. Presently the school has about 800 students and 35 teachers. As of now, the classes functioning here from LKG to Class X adhere to CBSE syllabus which has been contextualized as per the educational scenario of Thrissur.
